Cindy Sherman Project: Self Portraits!

For the Cindy Sherman project, i did a bunch of different photos using a disposable camera and i showed sides of my personality and a character. We had to choose one of our favourite photos to be in the show and  i chose to do my character portrait because it was my favourite concept wise and overall appearance.

Title of photo: Hidden Beauty

I decided to use this photo for the show because it was one of my best photo that turned out and I also had enough to explain it in my artists statement. The reason behind my photo is that many girls tend to hide their faces by putting on so much makeup that it makes them look unreal or even fake.They are unaware that they don't need it because they can't see their natural beauty or what they look like without makeup on. 

I really enjoyed the chance to be able to participate in a great oppourtunity and project like this and i had a lot of fun learning all the different techniques that had to do with costumes, setup and lighting!
