For this journal we had to take pictures of black and white objects and surfaces against each other. The problem that most people have with this is trying to make the two visible against each other but not blend completely and this is called having the perfect exposure.
For the black on black, i chose two objects with different textures so that when they are against each other there is a clear picture of each seperate object.
For the white on white, i chose two objects with the same surfaces but they don't blend because i used the shadowing on the spoon to show that the objects are separate.
